Exciting Opportunity:
Head of Hygiene

Are you passionate about maintaining impeccable hygiene standards in food manufacturing? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Hygiene to join a leading food manufacturer based in Leeds


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a dedicated hygiene team to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Implement and maintain robust hygiene practices throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in hygiene operations.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with production, quality assurance, and health & safety teams to uphold hygiene excellence across the facility.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to hygiene protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a senior hygiene role within the food manufacturing industry, with specific exposure to chilled food production.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve excellence.
  • Strong understanding of hygiene regulations, HACCP principles, and food safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • A proactive approach to problemsolving and a commitment to driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
Up to £65,000.00 per year
