The Physiotherapist Assistant will be a key member of the Health and Wellbeing team providing an effective and efficient dancer centred service.

In conjunction with the School Physiotherapist, the Physiotherapist Assistant will work closely with students to provide expertise, guidance, preventative support and treatment of injuries to all members of the student body.

The post holder will have a delegated caseload and will work within agreed treatment plans, protocols and policies without direct supervision.

The Physiotherapist Assistant will liaise with rehabilitation staff in order to organise and coordinate the smooth running of rehabilitation classes and individual dancer appointments at Elmhurst Ballet School.

They will help students to gain a clear understanding of the key elements of injury management and prevention.

Working hours are to be negotiated to meet the needs of the school and will be up to 4 days per week.

This is a term-time only position (total 35 weeks per year).
