We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents. You will be responsible for supervising and supporting the care staff, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.


Duties:


  • Create and implement care plans for residents, ensuring their individual needs are met using Nourish electronic care planning.
  • Supervise and support care staff in delivering personalized care to residents
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the healthcare team
  • Use IT systems to update resident records and document care provided

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a senior care or similar role is required
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in using IT systems for record keeping and documentation
  • A caring and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Must have Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
£12.50-£13.25 per hour
