We offer Residential, Respite and Day Care._We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents. You will be responsible for supervising and supporting the care staff, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.
Duties:
- Create and implement care plans for residents, ensuring their individual needs are met using Nourish electronic care planning.
- Supervise and support care staff in delivering personalized care to residents
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the healthcare team
- Use IT systems to update resident records and document care provided
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a senior care or similar role is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in using IT systems for record keeping and documentation
- A caring and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Must have Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care.

£12.50-£13.25 per hour
