This position as an Accounts Payable Accountant is responsible for supporting the outsource Accounts Payable function and be the 'go-to' person for any query resolutions.

Our client is an award winning, world-wide recognised business that is continuously growing and expanding. They are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to make an invaluable contribution to their Accountancy team in Reading.


Description

  • Processing invoices and posting into the system
  • Ensuring all relevant checks are made and approvals obtained
  • Payment of invoices across EMEA and employee expenses
  • AP Query Management & Resolution
  • Supporting outsource invoice processing team and resolve any escalations
  • Month end close of AP function, including reconciliations and accruals
  • Month end bank reconciliations
  • Month end support to GL team with Open PO Accruals
  • Cash forecasting and funding
  • Monthly reporting and KPI's

Profile

  • Extensive experience working in an Accounts Payable team
  • Great knowledge of cash management and forecasting payments
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem solving skills
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Experience with multicurrencies
  • Can pick up new systems quickly
  • High computer literacy
