Job DetailsOur client is a law firm with offices located in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Their aim is to become the leading Law firm combining specialist business law and private wealth advice internationally. They have over 1000 staff, which includes over 150 Partners and approximately 40 employees within the Finance team. They are seeking to recruit a Cashier Operations Assistant to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Offering support to the core functions within the AP and Cashiers team
- Processing client and office account cheque requests
- Recording office and client account cheque receipts into the ledger
- Reconciling supplier statements and client account standing orders
- Reviewing office and client account payments
- Posting disbursements
- Posting supplier invoices and staff expenses
- Compiling and reconciling client deposit accounts and other bank accounts
- Ensuring assigned client money balances are held in compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Ordering and recording business currency orders and selling back surplus funds
- Daily banking of cheques
- Previous experience in a professional services environment
- Experience with Outlook, Work and Excel
- A keen learner with some experience working in a professional environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Highly motivated with the ability to manage their workload and work under pressure
- Proactive team player
