Description
Would you like to play a part in keeping the vulnerable people of Derbyshire safe?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Derbyshire Constabulary's Safeguarding Co-ordination Hub (SCH) as an SCH Administrator.

By joining the SCH as an Administrator, you'll gain invaluable skills and experience, and play a vital role in making a difference to the lives of vulnerable residents of Derbyshire.

The Safeguarding Co-ordination Hub is key in ensuring a consistent and enhanced service, involving processing and managing the level of risk posed by offenders to adults and children.

With the appropriate level of supervision and support you will be required to review Police systems in order to carry out research and document your findings.

The information you will gather is then presented to the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) for the purposes of safeguarding adults and children who are considered to be at high risk of harm.

Working as part of a team within Public Protection you will provide the administrative function in line with Force Policies under each discipline, which underpins the whole process.

The role requires working towards deadlines in order to deliver a high quality service for our partner agencies and for those at risk of harm.

Due to the nature of the role, a flexibility around working hours and location, with a willingness to travel on occasion may be required.

Please note, these units are required to process information relating to children and adults, which may be of an upsetting and/or distressing nature.

All posts will require you to undertake mandatory counselling appointments.

Interviews to be held week commencing 5 June 2023.
