Modern Workplace Engineer - Permanent - Hybrid - 1 day a week in central London

Gerrard White are looking for a Modern Workplace Engineer (Intune/Exchange) to one a leading global Risk Management and Insurance Broking organisations. You will join a growing systems team as a senior member, working with a large UK userbase, as wellas a wider EMEA population.

What will the role entail for the successful Modern Workplace Engineer?

  • Be accountable for delivering productive and efficient support to colleagues and business users.
  • Provide IT support across all levels including escalations and priority tickets as well as developing team technologies & providing support.
  • Give regular status reports to the Infrastructure and Project Managers.
  • Monitor Technical Implementations in alignment to the Technology building Operational readiness.
  • Work on infrastructure projects and work requests approved by the Executive Committee.
  • Handle any critical blocking issues, manage relationships with Strategic Infrastructure Suppliers and ensure Corporate Standards are deployed and maintained.

What are the requirements for the successful Modern Workplace Engineer?

  • Experience working with Microsoft Exchange and M365 at a senior level.
  • Must have handson experience in largescale 24/7 enterprise environments hosting multiple servers and users.
  • Good technical understanding of Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience working in an Azure based environment.
