- YOUR ROLEOur Showfreight team based in Dartford are looking for a Senior International Project Coordinator to join the team and provide support in ensuring operational excellence through shipping services and onsite handling/final mile delivery for air, ocean, and road freight movements.
- WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?As a Senior International Project Coordinator you will take ownership for coordinating the movement of freight to and from exhibitions based in the UK and Worldwide via road, ocean and air transportation including handling all customs paperwork and import and export licences whilst adhering to local legislative requirements. You will provide regular assessments and updates to the International Operations Manager and communicate any issues or concerns that need to be actioned in a timely manner. When present at shows and exhibitions, you'll lead, motivate, and oversee team members ensuring and positive and supportive team environment is created and maintained, and meet and communicate with external clients and suppliers.
- This is a Monday to Friday role 09:00 to 17:30 however international travel will be required so flexible approach to working hours is desirable.
- In order to be successful for this role you'll need to demonstrate your freight forwarding experience working in a multimodal logistics environment (across air, road and sea) within project forwarding and have a solid understanding of global transport logistics and customs clearances.
- Due to the nature of the role and the industry, travel will be required therefore, a flexible approach for work is necessary along with being comfortable staying away from home.
