Our client is a leading global player in their specialist B2B services delivery, focused on driving efficiencies across their target markets in Oil and Gas and Heavy Engineering, through optimisation of asset management via digitalisation.
They are growing rapidly through both organic top line growth and an agressive acquisition programme.
Reporting to the Group CEO there is an immediate need to appoint a Chief Opeartions Officer on an interim basis initially for 12 months, with the potential to Temp to Perm thereafter,to initiate and drive through a business transformational programme - the aim being to reduce costs, improve process and operating efficiencies as well as profitable productivity.
The role will suit someone who specialises in transformation across an entire organisation and who is able to overcome the not unexpected internal challenges to change quickly and effectively.
- Experience of operating at COO or MD level in businesses with up to 1000 FTE, spread globally
- It is essential you have experience of leading a fee based bsuiness model such a consultancy or other professional services
- B2B must be the focus of your experience ideally having sold services in either the Oil and Gas or Heavy Engineering sectors, or similar such as Utilities or Mass Transportation
- Evidence of significant, crossbusiness transformation is prerequisite you must have initiated, developed and delivered the plans for such programmes
- Excellent senior stakeholder engagement skills essential to PLC Board level
- A track record of success in helping businesses integrate acquisitions and provide robust platforms for future acquisitions
- Capable of driving the people change element, aligning disparate colleague teams from acquired businesses into one same vision, same purpose, same goal entity
