We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Professional, specialising in construction projects, to join our team.

We are increasing construction activities as part of our strategy.

As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering these improvements to our customers while also delivering world class health and safety performance.

You will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, specifically focusing on Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).

Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert advice, guidance, and support to all functional teams, promoting a culture of safety and improving overall performance.

We currently have a

Health & Safety Advisor position available for a motivated individual to join our team in

Exeter. Joining us on a full-time basis, you will receive a competitive salary of

£37,800 - £42,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing:


  • Attend contractor meetings, developing KPI's to assure good health and safety practices throughout our supply chain.
  • Conduct supply chain health and safety assurance, through regular audits and engagement.
  • Act as a health and safety support and advisory function to our contractor supply chain and operational teams.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify areas for improvement and help develop strategies to enhance health and safety performance.
  • Continuously assess and develop your own professional development through CPD activities, staying up to date with the latest regulations and best practices.
  • Work within the health and safety team to establish strong links with all areas of the business, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the team by taking on new projects and initiatives aligned with the company's 2025 vision of becoming the best health and safety performer in the industry.
  • Focus on ensuring highrisk projects are intrinsically safe through entire life cycle.
  • Active engagement within a multifaceted team consisting of health and safety, security, and process safety professionals, cultivating a positive and collaborative working environment.

What we are looking for:


  • Proven experience working as a Health and Safety Professional within construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices within the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance health and safety performance.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
  • Relevant certifications and qualifications in health and safety are preferred.
