Our client is a successful professional services business, based in Birmingham. They now have an opportunity in their Staffordshire office, where they are looking for a full-time Payroll Technician to join the highly successful and client-focused payrollteamAbout the role
Key aspects of the role include:
- Preparing a range of payrolls of varying complexity, including maintaining the upkeep of payroll files to specified standards;
- Completing accurate bank payments and HMRC returns on behalf of clients;
- Maintaining an uptodate knowledge of relevant legislation and different types of pension schemes for payroll compliance;
- Planning workloads independently and proactively, highlighting where additional support is required;
- Assisting in the continuous improvement of the department, including identifying and implementing opportunities for improved systems and new clients;
- Supporting colleagues and the wider team as required.
The position would suit an excellent communicator with a professional and proactive approach to client relationship management, who is keen to progress in their role.
