This well-established Secondary School based in North Birmingham are looking for a Science Teacher to join the Department.

Receiving a "GOOD" in their last Ofsted report, this School offers a curriculum that is tailored to the community and designed to enableall students to maximise their academic potential so that they can flourish at school and throughout their lives as proactive British Citizens.

This School also ensures staff to be excellent role models for students in their appearance and behaviours, in whatthey say and how they live the Academy values.

The values shape a set of core behaviours for school staff and leaders.

Your new role

As this is a long-term role you will be required to plan and prepare Science lessons and complete the marking and assessment of pupils' work.

You will deliver these lessons in a positive learning environment ensuring all pupils are progressing well and achievingtarget grades. There is high expectations of students' attainment and behaviour.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess QTS or QTLS and have experience teaching Science within a Secondary School.

NQT's will be considered. You will possess excellent behaviour management skills. You will be keen to work aspart of a team and share ideas and good practice. You will be available to start in April and continue on a long-term basis.
