Description
As a Senior IT Technical Project Manager, you will report into both the CEO and CTO.


This role requires a strong technical expert, with a background in working effectively with all parts of an organisation to be able to deliver solutions.

The individual needs to be an exceptional communicator, a problem solver, organised, able to work wellunder pressure to tight timescales and have the ability to influence at all levels and have a proven track record of delivering IT projects on time and to budget.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage projects in line with IS standards, processes, and governance through all stages of a project life cycle.
  • Plan and monitor multiple IT projects, ensuring objectives are understood and met and the Project team understand the requirements
  • Direct and motivate the project team
  • Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources and initiate corrective action where necessary
  • Manage project scope and change control and escalate issues where necessary
  • Resolve crossfunctional issues at project level
  • Manage project risks and issues.
  • Ensure project plans and progress reporting, including timesheets are maintained on Project Online.
  • Manage 3rd party expenditure within agreed budgets
  • Submit regular Checkpoint Reports indicating any deviations from plan at either stage or project level and any corrective action taken

Requirements for the position

  • Ideally achieved a formal certified waterfall project management methodology (e.g. Prince II Practitioner)
  • Experience of managing IT projects within medium to large scale organisations with previous enterprise, ERP, digital or infrastructure project exposure.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and build relationships to influence and engage at varying levels across the business
  • Must have a clean full UK driving licence, own your own car, and be willing to travel to London on a weekly basis, live within 25 miles of PE11
