A vacancy has arisen for a Project Planner, to join our Engineering team at our Barnsley Office.

The Project Planner role exists to provide programmes within the engineering and projects team.

The role briefly encompasses the following duties: - _**- Accountable for building, monitoring, analysing and reporting on project plans.

Adding value with experience and skills, challenging where required and being able to liaise and report at senior levels.
Dependency management within programme plans to ensure programme integration, identification of issues and implementation of solutions.
Ongoing plan consolidation and dissection in line with agreed the planning cycle.
Management of plan tracking and progress reporting production and ongoing maintenance of standard output reports.
Planning support to assist the Project Managers, Construction Managers and Quantity Surveyors in creating and maintaining fully resourced and meaningful project plans in accordance with the client's planning standards.
Plan resource levelling to smooth out resource overloads, future forecasting of resourcing and the generation of cost models based on plan contents.

Educated to degree level in mechanical or electrical engineering
Educated to degree level in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Good communication and IT skills.
Primavera P6 qualified
Time management and organisation skills
Excellent Microsoft Office skills
Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
Positive attitude towards health and safety
