Description
The Research Associate will work on a secondary data analysis project funded by the Youth Endowment Fund. The project is a longitudinal investigation of the relationship between special educational needs and violent offending.

The aim of the project is to identify what works to reduce violent offending through the secondary analysis of existing data from the Ministry of Justice, Department for Education, and the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children.

This is a fixed-term, full-time position for 15 months, available from August 202- PhD (or nearing completion) in psychology or a related quantitative discipline

  • Proficient in the use of R or STATA
  • Ability to plan and fit advanced statistical models
  • Experience of analysing data from existing large datasets
  • Ability to write up research work for publication in high profile journals and engage in public dissemination
