Otto James Consulting are partnered with an established media business based in Manchester to recruit for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity to join an established brand, looking after a growing team and taking responsibility for the full AP function.

Duties in this Accounts Payable Manager job will include:

Day to day management of a team
Training and development
Developing KPI's for the department,
Enhancing controls and processes
Ensuring suppliers and expenses are paid in a timely and accurate manor and reviewing and improving processes and procedures.
Review departmental results and directing the team towards developing corrective action plans as necessary.
Support continuous improvement, including processes, systems and support targeted to improve departmental efficiencies.
Deliver information to the leadership and business partners/stakeholders.
Ensuring the creditor's ledger is operated accurately, efficiently and to agreed timescales.
Reviewing, monitoring, and improving processes and procedures in relation to Accounts Payable.
Support the development staff to increase the standard and quality of Invoice processing.
Working closely with key stakeholders to ensure AP processes run efficiently.
Performing month end duties i.e., balance sheet reconciliations and other adhoc reporting requirements.
Developing financial reports and providing regular reporting on KPIs.
