Following the internal promotion of a team member, our client are now looking for a new customer service assistant to join their established team of 3.

As a member of the customer service team, you will play a central role in the established business. Working alongside the external sale team to receive and process orders from a wide variety of customers. This is a fast-paced role handling a significant number of orders to deadlines.


Key responsibilities:


  • Processing sales orders and ensuring accurate entries into the company's computer systems
  • Providing quotations and checking product availability and prices
  • Referring problematic issues that they cannot solve to management
  • Assistance in the maintenance of customer records and databases by entering and updating information as required
  • General office and administration duties

Requirements:


  • Natural communicator with excellent verbal, written and listening skills
  • High level of attention to detail and precision when processing orders
  • Structured and organised approach, with good timemanagement skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationships
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual and as a member of the wider team
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft office; willingness and ability to work with and develop new skills using other systems and software as needed

Working Hours


This is a full-time office-based role, working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with 4.30pm finish on Friday and will be offered on a temporary ongoing basis with an opportunity to go permanent.


Salary
£12.00 to £12.50 per hour dependent on experience
