An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Corporate Services Team for an enthusiastic, organised individual to join our team as Corporate Business Administrator on a 12 months fixed term arrangement.


Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) NHS Trust geographically covers nearly 6,000 square miles of varied terrain, from isolated moors and dales to urban areas, coastline and inner cities.


We serve a population of over five million people across Yorkshire and the Humber and strive to ensure that patients receive the right response to their care needs as quickly as possible, wherever they live.

  • Provide an efficient, highly professional administration service to the Executive Support function directorate on a daytoday basis.
  • Coordinate the diary and inbox of the Chairman and CEO using independent judgment and initiative to escalate matters as necessary to the Corporate Business Officer.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including coordination, and distribution of papers, take minutes/notes as appropriate, and ensure any actions are undertaken and prompts provided for followup as required.
  • Use tact and diplomacy to manage expectations of colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Filing and archiving information both electronic based and hard copy, together with record keeping systems ensuring that records are maintained within the required standard and identity opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support the planning and facilitation of workshops and other events, including booking venues and external speakers, scheduling attendees, circulating prereading materials.
