Job Description Summary
The Financial Service Professional School Leaver Apprenticeship (Level 6) is an ideal opportunity for enthusiastic school leavers to start their career within Lloyds Banking Group and gain a professional qualification at the same time.
We're looking for innovative problem solvers, team players and individuals with an eye for detail who are keen to make an impact within financial services and want to be our leaders of the future.

What you'll do:
You'll work within the Lending & Working Capital Product Management team, part of Business & Commercial Banking.
if you're someone who enjoys managing a broad range of activities across stakeholder groups, appreciates variety and takes accountability for business improvement and delivery this could be the ideal role for you.
Activities can include improving the risk profile of the product, supporting the delivery of operational efficiencies, assisting with risk events and incidents and business transformation.
This role will provide you with an excellent opportunity to showcase your talent and excel within the Group by supporting complex activities, optimising client outcomes & product performance.

About the programme:
Starting in September 2023, we'll support your study towards a Level - Financial Services Professional apprenticeship.
This apprenticeship programme will last for 36 months, during which time you'll gain a degree level qualification - the Chartered Banker Advanced Diploma in Banking and Leadership in a digital age.
Please note - you'll be based in the location listed on this vacancy and will be expected to be 'on-site' in the office as and when required by the business.
What you'll have:
We expect you to be motivated, ambitious and committed to your own development. In particular, you'll be keen to get to grips with financial systems and processes.
The minimum qualifications required for this role are:
- Minimum 5 GCSEs Grades
- 9 or equivalent (including Maths and English) AND
- At least one A-Level or equivalent by September 2023
The following skills would also be beneficial for this role:
- Ability to interact with and present to senior management and key internal senior business partners
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Ability to work and solve problems independently
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting associated deadlines
- Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.)
