Hugely successful service provider business based in Harrogate currently require a Management Accountant join their expanding UK division.

Working in a well-established business, with continuous development at the heart of what they do; you will be involvedin a variety of duties.

The role is for a Management Accountant - offering an excellent all round finance opportunity, with varied responsibility and lots of exposure to commercial aspects of finance.

They will provide huge scope for progression both parallel and vertical opportunitiesthat will open up during your time in this business.

Reporting directly into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the monthly management accounts are prepared to review at senior management and submitted within deadlines.
  • Taking a lead on accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and relevant reconciliations.
  • Ensure the company payroll posting are accurate against budget figures.
  • Ownership of the financial processing and reporting in relation to the central project function.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Creating accounts preparation efficiencies.
  • Reviewing financial data for accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Production and development of accounting packs.
  • Attendance at monthly financial management reporting meetings with relevant operational stakeholders and developing relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Developing Relationships.
  • To support on the annual external audit.
  • To support in the production of the annual budgets.
  • Adhoc project work.
  • To be committed to continuous improvement within the finance department and reporting.
  • Support on adhoc tasks and reporting.
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA part qualified with previous strong experiences within the finance function.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to adapt and pick up projects on an ad hoc basis.
