LB Dance is a small business in Congleton. We are professional, and our goal is to provide fun, friendly and inclusive dance classes to the community. Dance School located in Congleton Cheshire. We have our own premises. 2 Studios and currently 3 Teachers. We would really value another ISTD Teacher. Our Ballet & Tap classes are very popular. We opened in 2017 and continue to grow each year. We are well run and professional.

Our organisation is seeking an experienced ISTD dance instructor to guide our students through exams, competitions and shoes. The Dance Instructor should have previous experience choreographing dance routines and hold an ISTD DDE qualification. Experience in teaching Jazz technique is also highly valued. Extra work such as private lessons, dance parties and attending events will also be available.


Responsibilities:

• Observe the students' posture and body movements.
• Observe and correct the students' body movements, including positioning and techniques.
• Teach students techniques
• Teach students ballet terms and vocabulary
• Be punctual and prepared for class.
• Monitor basic physical health of the students and maintain a clean dance area.
• Stimulate the students' interest in dance.
• Be friendly and approachable
• Work well with other people

Job Types:

Salary:
£20.00-£25.00 per hour
