Description

We are looking to recruit a Night Shift Transport Planner to work from our main office in Pinchbeck, Spalding

As a Transport Planner you will:

Plan daily routes, deliveries, and collections for the fleet of 40 Class 1 vehicles across multiple sites
Offer continued support throughout the night shift with planning implementation
Be able to deal with problems effectively
Manage Drivers working time
Monitor through weekly reports and feed back to the Transport Manager

Requirements:

A minimum of 6 months experience working as a Transport Planner within an Office environment. This must be planning Class 1 vehicles.
Have good working knowledge of Excel and outlook

An understanding of tracking systems and good geographical knowledge
Have a professional telephone manner.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
A proven track record in refrigerated transport planning

Applicants must be reliable with a good work ethic and be able to follow health and safety guidelines.

Pay:
£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
