Requisition ID: 3216- Location: Northwich, Cheshire, GB, CW9 7SEStorengy UK has a fantastic opportunity for a Communications Executive to join our growing business on the Storengy UK Stublach site near Northwich.

Working as a part of the Communications and CSR Team you will support the internal communication function at both Storengy UK and ENGIE UK.

Our existing natural gas storage plant provides flexibility and support to the natural gas and power networks in the UK.

We aim to make this site in Cheshire Net Zero by 2025 utilising our newly constructed onsite solar farm and other net zero projects.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Communications and CSR Managers with the planning, creation, and execution of Storengy UK and ENGIE UK's internal communications and engagement strategy which is aligned with HR, Learning and Development, Recruitment, Wellbeing, CSR and Diversity and Inclusion
  • Support and work closely with a variety of stakeholders across ENGIE Group, including the Executive Management Team, to make sure our strategy, message and goals are aligned across all parts of the business, and ensuring effective internal communications.
  • Being the main point of contact for intranet on SharePoint. Ensure that pages are up to date and that there is a regular feed of new stories. Train and support teams with the creation for new internal sites and management of the content including the image library making sure it is organised and user friendly.
  • Create and maintain distribution lists for internal communication, working alongside our HR team.
  • Support company events helping prepare presentations, content and schedule Town Halls, webinars. Publicising them to colleagues across our internal channels., including TV screens, newsletters etc
  • Monitor and track engagement on activities, events, and initiatives.

Skills required:

  • Indepth knowledge of the key elements associated with effective business communications.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills and experience in explaining complex information quickly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, and with a range of different stakeholders.
  • Creative skills with the ability to propose and implement initiatives, and logístical / planning skills to ensure projects are delivered on time and to required budget.
  • A highlevel of IT knowledge (particularly Office 365)
  • Finetuned organisational skills.
  • Proactive and able to prioritise.
  • Knowledge of a range of different engagement and communications techniques.
  • A high level of attention to detail.

Qualifications required:

  • Qualification in a Communications discipline or similar
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar corporate communications role
  • Communication planning experience
  • A highlevel of IT knowledge
  • Previous experience of using CMS, e.g., SharePoint, is desirable.
We can offer you a fixed term contract for two years.

The role is full time 37 hours and salary range is:
£20K- £25K.
