Job Purpose:
_To take responsibility for the day-to-day safe and efficient running of the Workshop Administration._**
Contract Type:Permanent


Shift: 4on4off


Salary:
Dependant on experience


Reporting to:
Group Leader Fleet Maintenance, Compliance, Insurance & Training.

Specific Qualifications/ Job Training

  • Administration Qualification
  • Experience of working at a similar level.

Specific Experience

  • Supervisory / team leader experience
  • Maintenance planning experience and knowledge of commercial vehicles
  • Problem solving/logical thinking
  • Motivation and Team building
  • Clean driving licence

  • Proven record of ability to manage time and work to strict deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, interaction at all levels internal and external.
  • Able to train others.

Specific Key Accountabilities_**- Leading a maintenance planning team and making decisions to achieve optimum productivity, efficiency, and use of resources within the workshop environment.


  • To supervise the work that is carried out day to day, to ensure that quality standards are met.
  • Keep all vehicle records up to date in hard copies and in electronic format.
  • Action Vehicle Breakdowns in a timely manner to prevent excessive downtime.
  • Keep vehicle history in an orderly system.
  • Raise all necessary PO's as and when required.
  • Responsible for ensuring that compliance and all VOSA regulations are adhered to.
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are observed and always maintained.
  • Regularly review the departmental operations and processes, whilst identifying improvements in efficiency and costs
  • Communicate with the Workshop team to supply information regarding priorities and objectives and to provide direction daily to ensure these are achieved.
  • Carry out all other duties as directed by the Company.
