Accounts Clerk
must have practice experience and be able to do the accounts and trial balance. It will mainly be for sole traders and partnerships, but you would also need to be able to do limited companies too ideally.
You will speak to clients on a regular basis, liaise with them, and chase for any outstanding or missing information.
Salary & Benefits for Accounts Clerk
£25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
Hours:8.30am - 5pm, Monday - Thursday, 8.30am -4.30pm Friday, please note this role is fully office based
Holidays: 4 weeks plus Bank Holidays and an extra week after 5 years' service
The Accounts Clerk person/requirements
- 2 + years experience working as an Accounts Clerk
- Must have practice experience
- Must have experience of doing trial balance
- Any knowledge of VAT, corporation tax or bookkeeping skills are desirable
- Experience of either Sage, Iris, Quickbooks, Free Agent and Xero is desirable as this is what is used internally and for their clients, if you are only familiar with one of these systems, the client is happy to train you on the others.
