Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm - FULL TIME OFFICE BASED


Salary:
up to £32,000 per annum depending on your experience

Finance Administrator duties:


  • Managing Sales and Purchase ledger
  • Processing and raising invoices
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and final year end accounts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Chasing overdue or outstanding debt
  • File quarterly VAT returns experience in Domestic Reverse Charge VAT is preferred
  • Calculating wages weekly from timesheets and monthly salaries
  • Processing expenses, mileage, RTI returns, P11Ds, P45s, P60s, SSP, SMP and holiday entitlement
  • File CIS returns and process PAYE payments monthly
  • Prepare monthly pension payment
  • Maintain WIP spreadsheet to show outstanding monies
  • Petty cash control
  • Negotiate renewals
  • General accounts related queries
  • Ad hoc administration duties

Skills Required:


  • Construction industry knowledge
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Accounts or Bookkeeping
  • AAT Level 4 or ACA qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Previous experience of using SAGE 50 is desirable


  • IT literate

  • Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems
  • Professional and polite telephone manner
  • Ability to support a junior member of the team
