Hereford Contract Canning, currently employs over 135 staff in Hereford.

HCC is a rapidly growing contract canner of leading drinks brands which has recently undergone significant investment over the last two years.

Since 2019 the business has grown by over 250% and staff have increased from 54 to over 135.

The future plans include continued investment, increase in staff, continued acquisition of new customers and growth of existing business.

We are seeking a Supply Chain Co-ordinator to work as part of our Supply Chain team who are responsible for sourcing materials for our beverage canning line.

The role involves maintaining Business Central, Forecast and Waste systems ensuring all data is live (updating stock levels etc.), raising purchase orders, control of incoming materials (excluding Bulk Liquid & Cans/Ends) and completion of when goods are made.

The main responsibilities of the role will be as follows: (Full role descriptor available)

Assist in the reconciliation of weekly stock count and duty reporting when requested
Provide cover for supply chain team (main NPI)
Generate sales/assembly orders (for the warehouse) in a timely manner to ensure all materials are made available for the required departments
Ensure tight stock control of all materials. (inc FOC products)
Support ATM process for all ingredients/materials (where required excluding cans)
Liaise with suppliers to ensure best prices for commodity/uncontracted materials
Support NPI process with materials sourcing, providing cover when required
Sign off materials/ingredient invoices (as required)
Monitor and report on supplier performance
Manage and Control Chep account (including ordering and reconcillation)
Manage and Control waste disposal account (including specialist/hazardous waste)
Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Office and Excel.
Understand basic principles of stock control and manufacturing
