As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for growth and business development through effective sales planning and client development.

As a BDM you will be carrying out the following duties:

  • Focusing on building strong relationships with businesses to understand our clients and their recruitment needs
  • Using a whole variety of means to generate new business
  • Pipeline and canvassing new business via telephone, face to face meeting etc.
  • Working with the consultant team to ensure correct markets are being targeted
  • Managing our internal recruitment system and taking ensuring it is clean, relevant, and easy to use
  • Adhering to company compliance, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent negotiation skills, confident in agreeing terms in line with business standards
  • Confident communication skills and able to speak to people at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong administration and compliance skills
  • Extremely motivated with a resilient and positive 'can do' attitude
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft packages
  • Highly organised individual with the ability to meet required deadline
  • Previous experience in the recruitment industry
