Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our team.

As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organisation operates in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Your role will involve conducting internal audits, managing compliance processes, and ensuring regulatory reporting.


Duties:


Main duties will include:

  • Assisting with Anti Money Laundering responsibilities including training, answering day to day queries, and managing relationships with third party providers
  • Opening and managing client matters on our case management system.
  • Managing Law Society and other accreditations.
  • Report management including risk assessments, key dates, and other reports.
  • Managing the firm's lender panel management
  • Assisting with administrative tasks for the Compliance team generally.


You will have good communication skills, attention to detail and have a genuine attitude of 'no job is too big or too small'.

You will work closely with our Head of Risk and Compliance and deputise when they are not available.


It is essential that you have at least two years' experience preferably working within a law firm who deals in property transactions.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience working in a compliance role, preferably in the banking or financial industry
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and reporting standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information to different stakeholders
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
  • Proficient in using compliance management software or tools

Pay:
£35,556.44-£55,815.04 per year
