    Job Title: Intermediate QS (Drylining)
    Type of contract: Permanent
    Location: Central London
    A reputable Specialist Contractor in London seeks an experienced Intermediate Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will provide commercial support, developing strategies to maximise project profitability through timely payments and cost minimisation. Key responsibilities include reviewing contracts, managing tender documentation, and negotiating with suppliers.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Strong commercial awareness of construction industry contracts.
    2. Create, review, and manage tender documentation and contracts.
    3. Demonstrate professional determination and commercial risk management skills.
    4. Negotiate and resolve issues effectively.
    5. Independently undertake key activities and liaise with peers, customers, site managers, engineers, and suppliers.
    6. Present commercial risks and cost-effective opportunities to managers.
    7. Experience inputting data into a financial system.

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate has a degree in Quantity Surveying with 2-3 years' experience working with a Drylining Contractor. They should be determined, hardworking, organised, and thrive in a competitive environment.
