Newspace, based in Lydney Gloucestershire, is a leading manufacturer of modular temporary accommodation, secure storage, welfare facilities, and portable retail outlets. Newspace is a highly successful manufacturing company that has gone through substantial growth in the last few years through hard work and great service.

We now have an opportunity for an experienced Sprayer to join our team.

Duties include:
Responsible for the paint finish of mild steel containers for industrial and commercial use.

Mix paint and other materials according to specification or formula
Ensure facility and spraypainting equipment are in good working condition
Monitor equipment operation to discover defects/deviations from standards, and make necessary adjustments
Utilise solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning sprayers and power equipment
Follow company requirements to select paint, and match colours of paint following specified colour charts

40 hours per week. Starting rate of pay between £ £14.15 dependant on experience.
Following successful completion of additional training salary can increase up to £16.28.

Monday to Thursday : 7.30 am to 16.30 pm Fri am to 13.30 pm

Lydney is within easy commuting distance of Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol and South Wales. We operate a travel allowance policy
of 30p per mile paid after a 30 mile daily return commute.
