Roof Top Nursery has an outstanding track record nursery based in Hackney, is looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Administrator for our Nursery.


The nursery is a provider of high-quality childcare and education for young children within a fun, stimulating and safe environment; working in close partnership with parents as well as providing a differentiated framework for learning to meet children's individual needs.

This position is to start as soon as possible.


Person Specification:


We seek to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced, enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated Administrator/ Co-ordinator to work in our nursery.


  • Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in clerical work.
  • Have GCSE passes in
    English and
    Maths
:


  • Suitable both physically and mentally to work with young children.
  • Have excellent professional telephone manners.
  • Have an understanding of good early years practice and inclusive education
  • Have knowledge of the guidance to the national standards for Daycare nursery, health, safety and hygiene standards.
  • Have the ability to take responsibility for the organisation of daily office workload.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and use your own initiative.
  • Be able to work under the direct instruction of the manager and assist as a personal assistant.
  • Be able to write professional letters to parents, staff and external agencies.
  • The ability to organise events and work as part of a team coordinating tasks.
  • The ability to initiate and maintain effective partnerships and working relationships with a wide range of people, including parents, colleagues and outside agencies
  • Be passionate about improving outcomes for all children
  • Be able to carry out all office duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Be a reflective practitioner to improve performance
  • Be able to use the computer and log data.
  • Have very good organisation skills.
  • The ability to work to deadlines
