A unique and exciting opportunity has presented itself within the Anti-Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery Operation Unit in London.

We are looking for a flexible and highly motivated person with exceptional people skills who relishes the opportunity to develop this new service.


As a Resource & Training Lead you will be required to support the Anti-Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery Operation team responsible for executing employee development programs throughout their employment with the Salvation Army.

You will get the flexibility to design and organise training courses by combining creativity, research and analysis of existing materials.

Curriculum planning and enrolment coordination will provide you an opportunity to work with other departmental professionals and employees on an interpersonal level.

Managing course evaluations and overall productivity will allow you to experience the trainings on a personal level to assess their efficiency and ability to engage.

This job is a perfect fit if you enjoy working with people, presenting helpful information and using your creativity.

  • Previous experience of working successfully within a L&D, Recruitment or HR role in a large and complex organisation
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience in using IT programmes and software including MS Packages
  • Management or leadership experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • A wealth of experience in administrative tasks


The role Resource & Training Lead is fundamental to the ATMOS team to ensure services are adequality resourced and growth plans are achieved.

Developing and delivering on a resourcing schedule, whilst liaising closely with colleagues in the HR team to ensure recruitment and onboarding processes are carried thoroughly and promptly for all posts.


This is a permanent position based at our Headquarters currently at 101 Newington Causeway, London SE1 6BN. From Spring 2023 we will be moving to our new, modern headquarters at Denmark Hill, London, SE5 8BQ. This exciting new building will provide a more effective workplace to help The Salvation Army better achieve its mission.**
