ITIL Service Design Manager - Liverpool - Hybrid working to £55,000 plus exceptional benefits


We are partnering with one of the largest employers in the area, a prestigious organisation of International renown, recruiting an ITIL Service Design Manager.

Currently in the throes of an ambitious digital transformation, as the IT Service Design Manageryou will be pivotal in the shaping and scoping of this function and their wider plans.


Working with the high level governance framework already in place, you will lead in developing the framework working down from this and you will have the ability to shape and scope the function moving forth.


Supporting the development of a cohesive strategy to link Digital Strategy and Enterprise Architecture the ITIL Service Design Manager will be taking accountability for the overall management of the Service Design Processes within the IT Services function,working closely with colleagues to co-ordinate activity organisation wide.


Overseeing the Service Design process across IT Services, you will be supported through the use of ITIL tooling,making decisions regarding improvements and long-term future of the initiative.


You will be a key member of the Technical Design Authority (TDA), working closely with stakeholders throughout IT Services and through the TDA, ensure that proposed Service Designs align with the IT Services Digital Strategy.


Key skills and experience required:


  • Significant and demonstrable of experience of working specifically within IT Service Management
  • ESSENTIAL
  • Relevant ITIL certifications and experience
  • Significant experience in a large scale, complex computing environments
  • Experience or exposure to continuous service/process improvement approaches (such as LEAN)
  • Experience of working with Architecture teams would be hugely beneficial
