The CompanyFirst Step Sports Group is a leading physical activity and training provider that works with schools, local authorities, community groups, businesses, and individuals across the North of England.
Our expanding network of experienced team members located across the region enables us to deliver high-quality services in five divisions, each specialising in a different area of physical activity development and delivery: First Step Physical Education, First Step Training, First Step Cycle, Ballers, and Kids Takeover.
The PositionAs our Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting sustainable travel in primary schools, a critical aspect of our mission to inspire and promote physical activity among young people.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is ready to take on challenges and handle all aspects of this role while promoting our other departments to your customers.

Responsibilities:
- Implement and adhere to operational plans and processes
- Undertake venue risk assessments, Venue Induction, Health & Safety & Safeguarding monitoring
- Collate numbers/attendees as per contract requirements
- Organise all resources and equipment
- Collect, monitor and submit KPI data
- Complete management reports for all projects and evaluate events/projects
- Liaise with the Operations Manager to coordinate staff for projects and events
- Deliver team briefings prior to events/projects
- Act as 1st point of contact for queries/complaints
- Update the management report and Managing Director on performance, KPI's and Targets
- Maintain team delivery performance
- Customer experience and liaison
- Coordinate delivery resources
- Complete and coordinate mapping meetings
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years industry experience
- Ability to lead teams who are goal oriented in a positive environment
- Have a proven track record of delivery to a high standard and achieving targets
- Exceptional planning and organisational ability
- Hold a Level 2 coaching badge (Minimum)
- Experience in similar role (Desirable)
- Holds a full and clean UK driving license and has access to own transport
