A brilliant opportunity has opened up for a
M&E Project Manager to join our client who are a leading international infrastructure group, with capabilities in construction services, support services and infrastructure investments.

Where they create infrastructure; support communities and enable growth. You would be workingon a major construction project based in Smethwick.


Daily duties of M&E Project Manager include but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with site management team
  • Full commercial responsibility (costs of labour, procurement, final accounts etc.)
  • Overseeing all works being carried out on site
  • Setting goals and objectives for the project
  • Site inspections & Weekly onsite meetings

The ideal M&E Project Manager will have:

  • A successful track record in managing operational delivery within a construction environment.
  • Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes with clarity; experienced at encouraging direct reports to do the same and managing a team to ensure tasks are carried out effectively and key messages cascaded
  • Ability to work under pressure to deadlines, and a flexible attitude towards work in order to deal with a variable and demanding workload
  • CSCS Card and SMSTS qualified; must be willing to become First Aid qualified
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (MS Word, Excel)
  • Understands the Organisational Business Management Systems and processes
  • Able to produce a realistic programme and proactively track progress
  • Able to identify elements for cost recovery from others and guide team members in maintaining project records
