A bit about the role... Working in a team with Sammy White our Contracting Senior Manager, the Manager - Provider Services, will play a critical role in delivering an excellent service to colleagues and providers involved in the delivery of Affordable Housing. You will be joiningour talented team of 9 people, who are committed to making positive change in how we deliver the Affordable Housing Grant contracting function of Homes England.
Sammy believes in delivering a first-class customer service, resolving contract queries informally wherever possible, taking an innovative and creative approach to complex and challenging issues.
This is a rare chance to shape the future Affordable Housing Grant contracting service in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose.
Working with key stakeholders and a professional team you will ensure efficient, consistent and effectiveresolution of contract related challenges and have the opportunity to help create a successful, high achieving team.
A bit about you Whilst our day job is to deliver first class customer service to our stakeholders in delivering our Affordable Housing programmes, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate.
You'll be comfortable engaging directly with a range of partners giving clear messages, and be willing to challenge as well as support.
Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn't always easy.
You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what wedo as a Contracting team.
You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.
In addition to relevant experienced, you'll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
