We are requiring a Mathematics Tutor to join us on an engagement basis to support with the delivery of Mathematics sessions across the Academy.

This role will be responsible for the organisation and delivery of the Mathematics provision within the Hybrid Training Model.


Key Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Lead, manage, facilitate and coordinate the delivery of Mathematics for schoolboys on the Hybrid Training Model.
  • Ensure that tracking and assessment of schoolboys' progress is up to date.
  • Contribute to the writing of schemes of learning for Mathematics.
  • Contribute to the development of effective tracking systems to monitor student progress.
  • Deal with any safeguarding issues that may arise by reporting them to the Head of Education and Welfare.
  • Participate in any training courses for Academy staff and other Club staff as and when required, e.g. FA Safeguarding workshops and Equality seminars.

Skills, Experience and Knowledge:


  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential
  • Safeguarding Children Tutor Training is desirable
  • Demonstrable experience of secondary education teaching
  • Experience of working in a sporting environment
  • Sound organisational skills, able to prioritise and manage own workload.
  • Excellent communication skills
