Our Visitor Fundraisers provide a warm welcome to our diverse museum audiences and raise vital income by asking for voluntary donations.

About the role
As Visitor Fundraising Team Leader, you will play a key role in the Visitor Experience and Fundraising teams.


Managing and motivating a leading a team of Visitor Fundraisers, you will line manage, recruit, train and coach the team to provide a warm welcome, deliver excellent customer service, and actively encouraging donations.

At times, you will also take on the responsibilities of a Visitor Fundraiser on the museum floor.

You will motivate the team to deliver against the highest standards of visitor service and fundraising, whilst actively promoting the museum and up-selling our commercial and retail activities to ensure we meet our fundraising goals.

About you

Whether you have been a fundraiser in the past, worked sales or retail - We are keen to hear from you You will be key to inspiring others in future of the Museum and confidently engaging the public to support us.

You are an excellent communicator who can build good relationships and can connect with a wide range of people.

Having experience in a customer-focussed environment, you have the ability to meet and exceed targets and can support a team to do so.

You'll be organised and efficient, with excellent attention to detail; comfortable analysing data and identifying performance trends.
