Due to an increase in demand, we are looking for Teaching Assistants with experience in working with children with a variety of complex needs.

The individual appointed must be able to use their initiative and work efficiently in a team, you must be able to engage and motivate the students encouraging their learning.

You will be supporting students from KS3 to KS5, you will have between 8 and 12 students per class with a class Teacher and other Teaching Assistants.

There could be an element of personal care with this role.

This role is for an immediate start for the rest of the academic year with strong possibilities of going permanent.

This role may include but is not limited to:

Supporting the teacher and the children within the class during lessons, break times and lunch time
Undertaking any tasks the class teacher may require help with
Working 1:1 with children who require additional support
Small group activities and supporting the other staff members during these

Must have:

Ability to work well independently and as a team
Has a passion to support and empower children and young people
A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
Commitment to safeguarding students and young people
