Age UK's Wellbeing team are recruiting for a driven and proactive person to join our supportive team as
Programme Manager - Network Strategy and Agreement.


Working between home and a central London co-working hub, this hybrid role is an exciting opportunity for a
Programme Manager to join the team to manage and coordinate the development and delivery of Age UK's Network strategy and the associated written agreement, effective from April 2024.


As
Programme Manager, you will work with colleagues and stakeholders from across the Age UK group, and the Network, to ensure the inclusion of appropriate content and compliance with relevant legal requirements.


You will also develop and manage project plans and workstreams as agreed with the Project Sponsor and Programme Director, identifying and assigning sub-project tasks to colleagues as necessary, using appropriate tools to track progress, with accountabilityfor ensuring project objectives and deliverables are met.


With excellent team-working and interpersonal skills, you will develop a communication plan and work with Age UK's Communication team to ensure internal and external communications on the progress of the project is accurate whilst ensuring appropriate disseminationof relevant and timely information for local partners, via the Age UK Communications team.


Due to the Hybrid nature of this role, the successful applicant may be required to commute to the central London co-working hub on a regular basis, for example around four times per month.

You will have:


  • Track record of successful project management within a fast paced, complex organisation.
  • Project design and delivery experience.
  • Proven experience of developing and managing successful relationships with colleagues and working with a range of senior stakeholders.
  • Experience of working collaboratively with colleagues, building networks with a diverse range of people and projectmanaging crossdivisional work.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills including both verbal and written, with a wide range of audiences at all levels, through a variety of means.
  • Ability to analyse and solve problems.
  • Ability to create effective partnerships and design and deliver successful projects.
  • Ability to present reports confidently and effectively to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate and facilitate both internally and externally as necessary to secure progress towards goals.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines, using own initiative as appropriate.
  • Excellent teamworking and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and to challenge or justify where necessary.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • A commitment to high standards in own and others' work with a strong attention to detail.
