Our client, a highly successful Health and Safety Consultancy, who through hard work, a client-centric business model and a drive to be the best at what they do have seen consistent, continued growth is seeking an experienced Head of Fire Safety.

For this responsible, specialised safety role a salary of £50,000-£60,000 is offered along with a generous car allowance, not forgetting other benefits we'd gladly tell you about.

You'll be required to travel, for the most part, regionally (approximately 50 mile radius of Kettering) however there will be the need for you to travel nationwide as and when required.

A favourable commute to Kettering is ideal as you'll regularly spend time at the Head Office too.


Role responsibilities

  • Lead a team of consultants ensuring that all standards and regulatory changes are made known. Perform onsite assessments as the Technical Lead taking responsibility for worked 'signed off'.
  • Readily provide a comprehensive advice service to clients in all matters of Fire Safety including regulatory reform on Fire Safety Order 2008 and personally managing a portfolio of key accounts conducting Fire Risk Assessments and producing Fire Safety Plans
  • Report directly to the Health and Safety Director working in partnership to deliver best practice processes and risk assessment templates
  • Be the 'sound board' for technical queries and concerns

What we require from you

  • Hold a CFPA European Diploma or equivalent and be AIFE, IFSM or IFPO accredited and Fire Risk Assessor registered
  • Keep abreast of new and up to date regulatory changes taking full responsibility for informing the whole of the business of the updates and changes
  • Have worked at a similar level where you're able demonstrate leadership skills as well as highly comprehensive, knowledge of Fire Safety. If you're passionate and driven it'll certainly be a winning formula
