Swanstaff Recruitment are currently looking for someone who wants to progress within the HR function.

You may already be a HR Administrator looking for the next step in your career, or a HR Advisor looking for a new challenge.

You will be working in our stylish Head Office based in Crossways Business Park in Greenhithe, this is within walking distance from Stone Crossing railway station and on the Aviva Fast track bus route (with Dartford railway station and Bluewater shopping also on the route).

You may be required to travel occasionally to other sites.

This is a permanent role working 40 hours a week, as follows:
Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5.30pm

Responsibilities:


  • Working with the HR Manager to identify, design and implement strategic HR projects, as and when required.
  • Promote the company vision, values and ethos.
  • Resolve complaints to a satisfactory level, providing constructive feedback to relevant managers to make service improvements where necessary.
  • Work closely with senior and line managers, providing them with expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR activities. Including (but not limited to) policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, absence management, TUPE transfer proceedings & contract acquisitions, restructuring of services, performance management, redundancy planning etc.
  • Ensure a consistent and fair approach to people management throughout the organisation.
  • Manage investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters in conjunction with the Head of HR & Talent.
  • Provide advice and guidance on individual employee relations cases, ensuring that these are well managed and meet the requirements of the organisation's policies, best practice and employment legislation.
  • Ensure that managers and staff are aware of the policies and procedures and able to operate them effectively.
  • Provide support to staff on HR issues, as and when required.
  • Develop and maintain an effective partnership with the management teams ensuring consultation and communication practices are routinely adopted to enable management to make effective decisions and successfully implement proposals.
  • Ensure that staff are informed and updated on key business and organisational issues.
  • In consultation with line managers, follow up individual development needs and source external training provision as and when required.
  • Administer the evaluation of all learning and development activities to meet training targets for employees throughout the organisation.
  • Gather and analyse market data to measure the competitiveness of the organisation's compensation and benefits package, making improvement recommendations as appropriate.
  • Assist with the annual salary review process, as and when required.
  • Monitor sickness, annual leave and absence levels and provide monthly management reports to the Head of HR.
  • Represent HR and participate in various meetings within the organisation as and when necessary.
  • Manage flexible working requests.
  • In consultation with the HR Manager, manage the HR systems and develop where necessary.
  • Manage health issues and occupational health issues, as and when required.
  • Manage the information held on the HR tracker/database and personnel files to ensure it is updated in a timely and accurate manner and complies with any legal or data protection policies.

Essential:


  • CIPD Level
  • Minimum of 2 years HR experience
  • Full UK Driving License with access to your own car.
