What would you do as a Head of Consulting & UX?


The Head of Consulting & UX is responsible for leading the local Consulting & UX team and leading, coaching and facilitating the consulting engagements for the team together with project manager(s) & sales.

You will report to the local Managing Director at Vaimo, UK.


Cooperation with other Vaimo country units and global colleagues will be essential in order to flourish in this role and serve local client & business needs.

The expectation is that this person would spend around % of their time in client engagements.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

People lead duties

  • Lead, manage, and coach individuals
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and competence planning
  • Growth & performance management
  • Including salary reviews
  • Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
  • Performance targets
  • Other "people" admin tasks, in conjunction with the Planning Manager and HR Manager

Leadership

  • Strive to build a highperforming, happy team
  • Support the quality of work being performed by the team
  • Developing the UK business plans to implement group strategy and help grow the overall team
  • Be always uptodate about the team's project, priorities, and statuses
  • Establish and lead various team ceremonies
  • Listen to the team's impediments and work to remove them

Client delivery duties

  • Engaging with clients & projects to develop, scope and help sell services engagements
  • Be a process owner of the team and make sure the standard work processes set by the company and the team itself are followed
  • Discovery phase for new projects
  • Consulting engagements with clients
  • Manage and plan allocation requirements for the team in cooperation with BUM
  • Escalation of chargeability issues to BUM
  • Proactively liaise with Project Managers to understand client/project needs and forecast and communicate resource availability

Internal duties

  • Develop regional cooperation activities around Consulting & UX practices with Vaimo UK
  • Support international client cases
  • Cooperation with Vaimo Group's Head of persons related to Consulting & UX practices
  • Sales & marketing support

KPIs

  • Consulting & UX revenue
  • Consulting & UX team utilisation
  • Consulting & UX team employee satisfaction (eNPS)
  • Client satisfaction (NPS)
