An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Secretary/Productivity Assistant for the Head of Administration and Operational Productivity.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our team from April 2023.


The purpose of this role is to mainly support the Head of Service with daily secretarial tasks plus a supporting role within the Productivity teams.


The head of service is responsible for the following teams:

  • Administration Services in Thurrock, Basildon, Brentwood, Chelmsford, Maldon, Braintree, Rochford, Wickford, Colchester, Clacton, Southend, Rayleigh and Canvey Island.
  • Operational Productivity Teams Trust Wide
  • Welfare Teams Trust Wide
  • Bed Management Trust wide
  • Transport & Translation Trust Wide


Your base will be confirmed at interview, as you will be aligned to a Trust site across Essex, however hybrid working may be supported.

The hours for this role is for 20 hours per week to cover 5 days. (Working hours flexible per day).

A car driver is essential for this role as you will need to be able to attend and take notes at meetings within various locations within the Trust.


Assist the Trust wide Operational Productivity Team on a day-to-day basis the data validation processes and to update/correct errors where required and to ensure that all data validation logs are clear and to work closely with clinical departments to ensure the accuracy of the data to address any data quality issues.
