This person will deliver consultation and facilitation to partners across SJP to deliver the responsible business framework and support SJP in its ambition to be a leading responsible business.

This will include demonstrating the commercial opportunities as well as mitigating the risks.

The role holder will help drive accountability and ownership across the business and build strong, effective relationships with key partners in UK/Asia.

Key areas of focus are Financial Wellbeing, Investing Responsibly, Climate Change and Community Impact. Proven experience advantageous but genuine passion and engagement with our objectives and superb communication and influencing skills equally important.


What you'll be doing:


  • Support delivery of the strategy for RB within SJP demonstrating the commercial opportunities of RB and mitigating the risks.
  • Responsibility for specific areas of SJPs RB framework and strategies including Climate Change, Financial Education and Community Impact.
  • Work with key partners to create business plans to deliver our RB goals and support the team to ensure these plans are accurately reflected in the RB activity programme.
  • Develop strong relationships with partners to embed the philosophy of RB encouraging ownership and accountability.
  • Support the RB team to complete year 1 tasks for achieving net zero and embedding company wide focus on I&D.
  • Support the education of partners on the commercial benefits and value of responsible business, including growth opportunities, economies of scale and efficiencies, reputational benefits and client expectations.
  • Ensure material climate risks are managed across the business and provide industry environmental standard process support to business functions. Collaborate with colleagues across the RB team to develop guidance for the 2,500 Partner Practices to help them adopt strong environmental principles and practices.

Who we're looking for:


  • Broad understanding of concepts/principles relating to RB: Climate change, community impact, financial wellbeing and responsible investing.
  • Previous experience of delivering responsible business activities in line with strategy.
  • In depth understanding of SJP and the Partnership.
  • Excellent understanding of FS and RB sustainability challenges of the finance sector and how future challenges will affect the sector and SJP/competitors.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate data.
  • Collaborative approach to problem solving.
  • Proven ability to influence both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence and appreciation for others.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to engage different audiences

Special Requirements:

Some business travel to locations and external conferences/events will be required.
