Description
The Senior Registered Practitioner will be responsible for the management and clinical practice within a ward/clinical area. They will lead clinical practice within their area of practice, supporting other members of the theatre team. They will be responsible for the co-ordination of the out of hours workload of the department. Develop leadership skills and experience in the management of the department. Review both nursing and theatre practice and implement appropriate changes based on research/ best practice.Be an effective role model and to teach and act as a facilitator/ mentor/ preceptor to members of the team.
Provide and maintain effective communication with all disciplines, both within and out of the operating department. Will co-ordinate activities on a shift basis.
