Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a brand new cancer unit in waterfall House at Birmingham children's hospital as a band 6 Junior Sister.

Working 37.5 hours per week. Part time and flexible working hours considered.

working on an inpatient 24 bedded ward within the specialty of haematology/oncology

Coordinating the daily running of the ward

Supporting, teaching and supervising the junior workforce


Liaising with the medical teams and wider MDT ensuring safe and effective patient care and management of capacity and flow.

Deputising for Ward Sister

Supporting governance, IPC policies and procedures and audit taking
