Description

A highly respected and ever growing Engineering company within the Utilities industry are now looking to take on a Stores Operative on a permanent basis.

You will be offered a salary of £25,000, along with exciting, long-term progression opportunities.

You will be responsible for the assistance of engineering operations across the business.


Key duties:

  • Unloading of supplier parts and the checking against supplier documentation upon receipt.
  • Carry out visual Check on parts received and report any issues to Stores Co Ordinator.
  • Loading of vehicles and completion of logístical documentation where required.
  • Process sales orders and prepare all relevant documentation for customer despatches.
  • Carry out stock and location audits at a set frequency and ensure accurate recording of subsequent adjustments.
  • Assemble kits of parts for use in production department when required.
  • Ability to differentiate between materials, types, sizes, etc.
  • Responsible for daily safety and maintenance checks on forklifts.
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness of workspace.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. 11. Other duties may be assigned as required.
