Group Warranty Administrator


Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break

Part of the Dunstall Holdings Groups, Rea Valley Tractors (RVT) was established over 30 years ago and is a leading regional agricultural machinery dealer.

We have seven depots in Newport (Shropshire), Shrewsbury, Sudbury, Welshpool, Middlewich, Ormskirk and Denbigh.

About the Role

  • The role of a warranty administrator is to process and submit warranty claims, escalating any substandard claims to the Warranty/Service Manager as necessary, whilst ensuring these are conducted within franchise determined guidelines._
  • This role requires an understanding of the warranty process in accordance with franchisespecific standards, so attention to detail and a methodical approach to workload is essential._
  • The warranty process is audited externally, which could result in financial penalties if faults are found. The role ensures accuracy and excellent presentation of the correct claims._
  • The role has no direct reports and reports directly to Group Warranty Manager._

Responsibilities:


  • On a daytoday basis you will (This list is not exhaustive):_
- _ Process and submit all RVT warranty claims following franchise specifications._
- _ Communicate with Warranty/Service Manager and Technicians on all substandard claims._
- _ Liaise with the Workshop Foreman to process returned claims._
- _ Contribute to continued improvements to departmental processes, to maximise efficiency and profitability._
- _ Prepare and collate information required for regular franchise-specific audits, ensuring all records are kept correctly and accurately._
- _ Excellent organisational skills with an exceptional attention to detail._
- _ An ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently under pressure to tight deadlines._
- _ Be able to use own initiative to problem solve._
- _ Willingness to learn new skills and take on a new challenge._
- _ Good general IT skills_
- _ Previous experience of warranty or agricultural would be advantageous but not essential._
